Natalya comes from a background in International Communications, with having made her name in Fortune 500-listed brands and businesses across the UK, Russia, CEE markets, Central Asia and the CIS.
After a series of big names were recently been added to the team, Waves is announcing one more: this week Natalya Malyova joins us as Chief Communications Officer.
Natalya brings exceptional talent and passion to the role, with a strong track record in delivering communications strategies for major global organisations. Most recently, she managed a high-calibre regional team in her position as Public Relations and Sponsorship Director for Samsung Electronics Eurasia HQ. Before this, she was Managing Partner for The Good Guys, overseeing the Eastern European and Russian presence of this innovative agency that exists to align people, planet and profit. In her career she has also taken prominent roles with key players of communications and diplomacy agentry sectors Ketchum, Edelman, Molten Group and The British Council.
“I am enthused to partner with Sasha Ivanov and an absolutely all-star team as Chief Global Communications Officer for Waves Platform, a unique and leading blockchain technology-based platform that enables entrepreneurs from all walks of life and scale of businesses to engage directly with their core audiences. Waves allows these people to build the foundations of their businesses with no involvement from the existing financial system — a remarkable alternative to the mainstream economy and banking network. Whilst cryptocurrency and the blockchain technology hype remains exotic to most, our team will take up the challenging role of shaping awareness and the agenda in this area worldwide. This future is no longer merely theoretical.”
“Once again, we have added another major talent to our core Moscow team,” adds Sasha Ivanov, CEO and founder of Waves. “Natalya joins an already outstanding group of professionals, and the wealth of experience she brings to our platform and organisation is truly exceptional. Her experience speaks for itself, and I have no doubt that under her guidance we will see a step-change in our public profile — just as we reach critical mass in our business development. Welcome, Natalya!”
